Springtime at My House - 11.25" x 11"

This quilt has been selected as a finalist in the
Art Miniature Category to be exhibited at the annual
IQA fall Judged Show, Quilts: A World of Beauty.

In this workshop, you’ll learn modern tatting to add small, dimensional embellishments to your quilts. Using a shuttle, you’ll practice making basic rings (and, as time permits, picots and chains) that can be used as leaves, flower centers, and other tiny accents.

Tatting makes a beautiful focal center for floral motifs, and you’ll leave class with practice pieces and the skills to keep creating your own tatted details at home.

Kit fee:  $15

  • tatting shuttle with bobbin
  • size 3 tatting cotton

Supplies:  Thread snips or small scissors.
