So what is a Fractal? Basically, it is a repeating pattern and a natural phenomenon.

Learn how to use the Frax HD app on your iPad to create a unique quilt design which can be printed on fabric or used as an applique pattern.

Prior to class: purchase the Fractal app, Frax HD, from the Apple App Store ($3.99) and download to your iPad.  Then purchase the pro upgrade from within the app ($6.99).

In the sample to the left, the center is embellished with fabric confetti and the binding was custom printed to match the quilt top.  The design was printed by

Hands-on, iPad 2 or newer, or iPad mini required.

Frax HD will also run on an iPhone 4S or newer and 5th generation iPod touch
