Learn how to create stunning designs with the Frax HD app on your iPad which can be printed on fabric for modern whole cloth quilts or used as an applique pattern.

Topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Hidden menus
  • Multi-touch gestures for Motion, Colors, Lights, Texture, Shuffle
  • How to save a design
  • Sizing your design for printing
  • Info on printing at home and at Fabric-on-Demand services like spoonflower.com.

Prior to class: purchase the Fractal app, Frax HD, from the Apple App Store ($1.99) and download to your iPad.  Then purchase the pro upgrade from within the app ($6.99).

In the sample to the left, the center is embellished with fabric confetti and the binding was custom printed to match the quilt top. 

Hands-on, iPad 2 or newer, or iPad mini required.

Frax HD will also run on an iPhone 4S or newer and 5th generation iPod touch
